Amazon Echo devices and Fing

in Fing App
i'm have an issue with Fing and amazon Echo devices.  Only three show up, but Inhave 4 devices and all of them work. I disconnect them and and reconnect.  It seems none of the Echos respond to a “ping”, even the three that show up in my network.

i'm puzzled.  Anyone have any ideas?

    Is your network simple or do you have a mesh or multiple AP?

    It's a Netgear Orbi which is advertised as a mesh. I have the main unit and 1 satellite

    There seems to be some issues on mesh networks, I'm not sure why since my network is just a gateway/modem combo unit from my ISP. I've noticed from a few other posts some wonkiness on mesh networks.

    My guess is the 4th invisible Echo is on the orbi satellite?

    No Problem.  I actually found out that Fing was listing my 4th Echo as an Amazon Firestick!

    Ha, that happens also since a lot of devices from the same company may have very similar MAC address. Glad you found it, now you can simply rename it inside Fing.
