How can you use the location field?

For my fixed devices I have entered their location by entering the room in my house where the device is physically located.  Can I use this location at all, as in sort by location??

    @wayner, no way I can see to sort this on the field your asking for.  Also that field is not available in the export function so no way I can see to do this in excel either.  
    @VioletChepil , can / should this be a feature request?

    There are a bunch of other fields as well that seem to be pretty much useless other than acting as labels.
    And there could be other uses for location - like creating a virtual map of your home with rooms each showing all of the devices.  I have eight TVs in my house and at each TV there are various devices like streaming boxes, AVRs, Control4 controllers, etc that are on my LAN.  And about half of these TVs are smart so they are also devices on my LAN.  It would be great to be able to see these in a network map of my house.

    The location is more for your personal reference - so you may know which device that is. I agree @wayner definitely more we could do! Here are a couple pending feature requests that may interest you:
    Filter by unassigned devices (I guess you could add something else about more filtering options etc.): https://community.fing.com/discussion/637/list-of-unassigned-devices/
