AND THE ONE MOST IMPORTANT MEME OF ALL:

The Mars Curiosity Rover (a tracked robot about the size of a small car) landed on Mars in 2012 with an expected mission life of one Martian year (about two of our years). It is still going in 2019. Eventually something will go permanently wrong, and "Death will come calling" for Curiosity. This is one of many anthropomorphic (here, more like a faithful dog) representations of Curiosity. It is shown as anxious to please - to have been "a good boy" - and being reassured that not only was it good, but the very best. (It has taken me two days, off and on,Β to write this, expanding and editing - at one point it was nearly two pages long.
