Delete account

So, to delete my Fing account, I had to create an account here. How smart is it?

I see several other users asking for the same, and only one got a non-helping reply.

Why can't users delete their accounts without going through this sort of rabbit hole?

Why not just provide the means to delete the account autonomously?

I wanted to delete my account because I'm not happy that I had to create one only to get the list of the devices connected to my network (which is the only thing I needed).

I did it anyway, thinking that maybe it was worth it, but it wasn't. The alternatives to doing the same are there, and they won't ask me to create an account and let me wonder where my data is going and how it's being used.

Fing making deleting an account so complicated only adds up to my concerns.
