Is there a way to edit / use the Fingbox "network" using the Fing Desktop?

@MattPackwood, no, you cannot edit a network discovered by a Fingbox with the desktop application. You can manage a network discovered by the desktop with the Fing app, but not vice versa.Thats Daphnee, she's a good dog...0

So if I want to “have all my data in one place” I should decide between the Fingbox or the Desktop “network”.
OK, no worries but a follow up question: Which is “better” at device discovery / identification?
So I can “focus on the better one”?

Keep in mind if you have a Fingbox and the Desktop, you can use the mobile app (What you install on your phone or tablet) to manage both networks, individually. You would use the mobile app to toggle between networks.Thats Daphnee, she's a good dog...0

Which is "better at detecting what a device is"?0

Both are good and I think use the same engine. Where the major detection differences lay in the fact that a Fingbox is meant to be on 24 x 7, constantly collecting host data while the desktop app is a fire up when you need it application. If you leave your computer on 24x7, then that might be a moot point for you.
Of course there are other differences like the digital fence and the ability to prevent a device from getting on your network that the Fingbox can do but that has nothing to do with detection.Thats Daphnee, she's a good dog...0 -
Ok, that makes sense… I spent 20 minutes and “synced them”.
