Change in marking unread posts?

Could we change way the unread posts are marked? It took me few days to figure out that there is a small 'New' badge under post title that indicate unread posts. To be honest it is hardly noticeable at first look, also because there are other badges along so it blends. Could we have standard forum approach of removing bold font from title intead? Just a suggestion.... What others think about?

    Interesting idea. Thanks for sharing @Mirekmal Just wanting to understand your view a more. 
    I'm not sure I agree on removing the bold titles. 
    But I am looking at ways to improve navigation. Instead of new, would you like a different word?
    3 unread (for example)? 
    Just wanting to get a couple more ideas on this topic!
    I agree, improving navigation is definitely a hot priority for me.

    Few ideas:
    - on the sidebar have next to total messages count also (perhaps in brackets) number of unread messages. This would allow to instantly jump to where the unread messages are:
      Connected technology    175 (5)
        - Devices & Security          74 (3)
        - Connectivity, ISP...           72 (2)
        - General Disussion...         29 (0)  
    - If not removing bold from message title, perhaps using the color? E.g. to mark unread message titles in 'Fing Blue'? Similar to what these look like at the momennt when hovering mouse over? Thoght to differentiate we should have 2 different collors... Or other way around, mark read message, by making title color light gray?

    I think is a good idea.  Sure, it now looks simple enough.  But as @Mirekmal points out, it easy to miss (I surely didn't noted it 'till one week in the community)

    @Mirekmal and @Hronos I definitely agree with you both on thinking of ways to improve UX and jump to new conversations. Let me check with our platform provider if we can add anything like this to help members better navigate!
