Fingagent CPU hog, full resintall does not work

FingAgent has consistently been using slightly over 100% of available CPU load, as per Activity Monitor on my Mac OS 11.4 laptop. Reading the Community discussions, I completely uninstalled Fing and then tried to reinstall it. However, the downloaded installer app results in this warning from MacOS:
