IP Conflict Messages

I have been getting messages when booting my MAC that my device address is being used by another advice and I should change one. How to change? How to stop conflicts?

    @cenielson, do you use DHCP only when assigning IP addresses to your devices or do you have devices statically mapped, aka you have entered an IP address for it on the device itself?
