Great news and thank you for sharing!

(minimal information is posted and all beta announcements will go there along with version releases etc.)
We may develop something more formal for beta testing in the future, but for now I'll be providing beta links in that category!

Typically these alerts are considered as needed to run the service and so I'm thinking a link to account notification settings?

Probably because our user base is so efficient with testing software we're submitting quite a few ^^ but I'm working through them the best I can with the provider.

I'm going to be posting updates about beta testing in that category!

"Hidden gems and key data"..... next you will tell me you are going balance the budget, offer free healthcare to all, and end poverty.... sorry i dont shlop it up with the rest of the sheep.... tell me something useful..... please. I liked the idea of fing, but once it arrived i found out most of the features i wanted were only in the buisness beta which was no longer offered.... i understand the hesitation to blurt out a spoiler considering the major fail on delivery, but announcing something great is coming is just as useless.
The rest of us here take the announcement for what it is. In addition it sounds like you purchased your Fingbox in the early Kickstarter days - when it's highly probable that not all promised features will be delivered. Now the Fingbox is more established it sounds like they've a far better idea on where they can take it,.
How do you see this. When your Fing App is installed on your NAS you need a webbrowser or App on your PC, Mac Book or Mobile to connect.
Please explain.
Some features of Fing require a FingBox such as ISP performance monitoring or alerts for new devices connecting to the network. If a PC/Mac client is going to provide a more robust set of features and eliminate the need for a box, an "always on" platform would be needed (that is my speculation). I'm a happy FingBox customer today. But I would appreciate being able to retire the box and have the logic run on my NAS (which is already always on).
