Let's try again.
I installed 2.5.0 and got the "connecting to service" error.
Based on a previous thread, I checked the service status, and the version of the service executable.
C:\WINDOWS\system32>sc query Fing.Agent

After installing 2.5.0, I get the "We're reconnecting to the Fing Service" error. Based on an earlier thread, I checked if the service was running, and

Hi @divzero
Can you follow these steps and see if the issue is resolved or not?
-> Disable the Npcap driver service and then uninstalled the program. To disable NpCap:
- Run this command as an admin: sc.exe config npcap start= disabled
- Uninstall Npcap-> Reboot your device.
->Download and install new Fing desktop version and then open it.
-> Reboot to normal mode and then check if it works for you.

@divzero, try uninstalling the application. Make sure it removed everything. Then reboot and reinstall. Make sure you accept the default locations it offers for the install and that your logged into the machine with an account that has full install rights.Thats Daphnee, she's a good dog...1
