Community text formatter mini- bar hidden by iOS version

Again a picture speaks a thousand words

When at the top of the page, the community bar shows correctly:

However, when entering text further down it becomes hidden by iOS's bar:

(If you look carefully you can see the outline behind the iOS bar).

As an aside, I think I've just created the Community's first "meta" post and may have crossed the streams...

    @VioletChepil , recently came across this on iOS 13x and was wondering when it will be addressed?  I use the iPad for much of my community interactions and it can be a bit of a pain.  Also the rotation issue still seems to be a thing.  Has the vendor given any timelines for a fix?

    The Bear feels your pain, @Marc ! I'm about an equal third between iOS, iPadOS and MacOS when it comes to my community outreach here, so that's a fair amount of anguish as a result...


    In @VioletChepil's defense, some of these issues require fixes by Vanilla, and that's harder I think to force through. We ultimately end up at their mercy.


    That said, a fix can't come soon enough for me either!

    response from Vanilla:
    I spoke with my team and we are not able to replicate this on our end in the latest iOS version 13.1.2 using Safari or Chrome. Can you ask that you user provide the iOS version along with the Google Chrome (or Safari) version so we can reproduce this on our end and see why this may still be happening?

    Any more details on the browser and version of that?

    Well, looks like it’s working now for me, maybe 13.1.2 was the key... thanks @VioletChepil for the follow up on this one. Now they still have to fix the rotation issue which is still present.

    I think it's better. Put it this way, I can't make it fail now on my iPhone. I suspect they changed something somewhere, because I last tested this on the 7th after @Marc's last post on the matter; my iDevicen were upgraded on the 5th...


    Still I'll take it.


    iPad portrait mode is still broken, though.
