How can I adjust my alerts for the Fing Community?

I was just about to ask this question - the beauty and value of a good quality search function, eh?
It’s good to know when there’s been an answer in a particular thread - but on the other hand, not every thread, and also I don’t think an email per *every* additional comment is efficient from your side either.
Imagine when the board has thousands of users. The mail server will never stop, and may even cause unnecessary load on the forum.
Maybe just one email if/when the thread has been updated since your last visit. Just a thought.
Glad I can change my default to “don’t notify” but just star an individual thread though. Just hope it doesn’t get too popular. Lol.
The best thing to do is review your alert settings here:
https://community.fing.com/profile/preferences/VioletChepil (is mine for example)
Yours would be: https://community.fing.com/profile/preferences/yourusername
I suggest following the categories you want to get alerts on. Or just the threads.
Beta testing:
https://community.fing.com/categories/announcements
If you are interested in getting alerts on beta testings etc. you can follow this category. Not too many discussions being posted, and these are mainly going to be app, release notes, company updates and beta testing which may interest you.
