Fing desktop stops working when I updated to v2.3.1

Hi,
I downloaded Fing for desktop on my Win10 machine today. When I prompted it me to update to the latest version, I did this but then afterwards the app wouldn't launch at all. I've reinstalled and keep it at v1 for now and it works fine. Is there something else I need to do to get the latest version to work?

    Thanks for the reply Ciaran. That seems a bit too involved for me for now. Is there a new version planned in the near future so I wouldn't have to do a workaround? Thanks
