Hi community,

Having read the FingBox v2 FAQ’s, am I right in understanding that if I have devices on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz running 2 SSID’s, FingBox v1 will not be protecting the 5Ghz network? This response in the FAQ is unclear in relation to v1.

  • WIDS (Wireless Intrusion Detection) covers the full spectrum, detecting any attack on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz

    The V1 does not have a 5Ghz radio so it would not be able to offer protection to devices on the 5Ghz band.  One piece though needs clarification, the Fingbox can only cover 1 network/SSID.  You would need another Fingbox to cover additional networks / SSID’s.
