Can I turn off network testing when machine is busy?

I had to remove Fing Desktop 2.1.0 on my main PC because it was slowing down the machine too much. Can I instead turn it off when the machine is busy?

Also, from the preferences, you can disable the "Hardware acceleration" for Fing desktop which will disable the use of GPU and thus freeing up memory.

@JonSaunders , while you can't turn an individual setting off, if your running windows you could set the CPU priority for the Fing app to a lower priority.
