Google web cannot be reached

I've been unable to use Google search for a couple of days and Fing has spotted this saying that google.com is not browsable. I'm with Plusnet. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

    Hi @Jadw137 thanks for asking your question.

    The first thing that I would want to know is if you can PING google.com from a Command Prompt.  This would be something that I would discuss with your ISP if that's the case and see why a search engine such as Google is not responding to PING requests (typically it always will as long as you have access to the internet).

    Thanks. This eventually sorted itself out. Interestingly and frustratingly the outage not only meant no Google search - which is not a problem in the short term - but ReCaptcha images failed to appear preventing me logging on to websites using them.
