How to monitor Bandwidth usage by device?

I would like to be able to monitor bandwidth usage by device on my network.
My Asus Router used to provide this functionality with a convenient pie graph showing usage, that then also allowed you to drill down and see what apps/sites the devices was using and associated bandwidth. this has stopped working since I recently did a firmware upgrade on my router and I am unable to downgrade the FW.
