Fingbox V2 Blue Flashing light twice

Folks, hope you are all well.  Is Cieran back ??   Fingbox App died on me... would no longer start. I put a Fingbox V2 in. But now it flashes blue light twice in very quick sequence.
Any suggestions? Apologies for being so absent... the COVID 19 situation has made things very difficult here.

    @albert, first off how are you feeling and holding up? @Ciaran is back and working, much to @Robin ’s relief I’m sure.

    As for your blue light blinks, usually it means a new device has been detected or blocked. See this link for light info.

    @Marc THANKS !   I saw that guide but it wasn't updated for V2 ?
    Holding up... only just. well over 100hr weeks is tough. Great that our new Dad is back.... bet you he is pleased too? He oughta buy Robin a decent bottle of something. Almost 22:00 hrs, can't keep my eyes open. Take care Marc. We need to ask Violet to update the LED Light Guide.

    Re the guide, this is what I found in another area for v2... status appears to be the same, just without the multi-led light show.


    Question:  Will the LED status for the Fingbox will remain the same?  

    There is only 1 LED on the new look Fingbox (as opposed to 6 LED’s on the original version). The LED status indicators will remain the same


    I like the 1km distance on the network. Very nice...

    seen that Marc. I have just set their brightness lower before they drive me crackers
    Re those units on order... they also do an A/C standard protocol unit.... but it is more expensive there is a version that does 5 miles if you need longer range. while u are at it..... look at this:  18dbi antenna... throwing out 500 milliwatts they do not say if this is erp (Effective radiated power) or input power.

    How would you align those things over that distance?  Do you have to have a clear line of site or can they go through obstructions?

    How are you. I hope you are doing well. I just checked your account and I saw your account was locked maybe due to entering wrong passwords but I have unlocked your account. Also, If you can DM me the MAC address of your Fingbox then I can check if it is working ok or not. For Blue LED, if you run the device discovery or open all devices from Device list tab, the flashing light will be back to normal. 
    And yes, Ciaran is back and doing good. :smile:

    @Robin Robin.... pls forgive me.
    Am hellish confused... probably the stress I am having to work under now as most of our volunteers cannot come to us. doing about 110 hours per week now and am not sure how much longer I can cope. Animal welfare matters do not take note of COVID19.
    Robin... I have the FINGBOX app on my phone... I also have the desktop app. Am I mad in thinking that there is also another (mobile phone app????    If that is so... I've long forgotten userid and password for that one... and probably for all the others as well.  Pls check this out for me and if poss.. email me privately at  [email protected]
    On top of that..... I am having massive problems in that the router WILL NOT SHOW devices over .247 Netmask is 255.255.255.0  so that should give me 255 devices. The FINGBOX shows 249 and 250 just fine... but as far as the router is concerned..... they DO NOT EXIST... even though they work perfectly ok !!! Constant other crap saying... "some device cannot get into the network" and the poor V2 FINGBOX is flashing its soul away.
    Lack of time precludes me finding out what the hell is causing all this... am so exhausted at night I cant even remember my name.
    Apologies for this shitty post.
