Why fing?

I love the name, but I have always wondered, why "fing"? Is it as simple as a derivation of "thing" or is there another deeper meaning? @VioletChepil are you privy to this?

    I was thinking its a play on the term Ping, which is a command used to see if a device is on a network and responding.

    I think it’s a combination of F(ind) and p(ING)...

    like finding devices as a reaction like a ping...

    I believe this was chosen because it is a combination of FAST and PING -> FING.
    @marco_from_fing or @Carlo_from_Fing anything to add in? (They are the founders and inventors of Fing).
