I'm wondering if any of you use a FingBox in an educational setting?  I teach Networking and Security at a local Technical College and would like to use/show the box to the students.

You should get yourself a WiFi Pineapple, invite them to connect then Rick Roll them. A room full of students being Rick rolled really shows the dangers of public WiFi in a fun way!

Yes, I would set up a wifi network inside your classroom and have the students connect to that.

I have installed one into a school, but only to remotely monitor a selection of networked building management devices we look after on their behalf.

@Ajax what's a WiFi Pineapple - looks like something designed for hacking?

I use it for pen testing so yes, ethical hacking. Its also brilliantly educational but I guess all comes down to the person wielding it.
