Wireless Intrusion Detection

Hi,

Not sure if WID is the correct feature I’m identifying for my issue. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

I’ve noticed that every time I received the notification: New or Malicious Wifi Access Point for my ASUS mesh network extender, all my devices on that extender disconnect for approximately 10 min to 30 min then reconnect. Seems to happen once a day at random times.

I noticed these BSSIDs were not part of my allowed access points in my network list. I added them and will monitor for repeat behaviour in the future.

Is the Fingbox initiating these disconnections?

Thanks,

Randy

BTW - Since I've added the BSSIDs to my allowed access points in my network list, I'm now getting "Wi-Fi attack detected" from the same MAC as the access point I've added. And same behaviour with all the devices disconnecting when this happens.
