Fingbox already active - Deactivating Fingbox from old Account

Hello team

Thanks again for your product & services.

I'm having a hard time deactivating my Fingbox from a previous account. I don't see the correct steps anywhere. I've followed a few suggestions - none are working.

I am unable to connect my premium account to my Fingbox because its currently still connected to an older account (email address). I get the message "Fingbox already active" when trying to add.

Please help deactivate my Fingbox from my old account?
Also.. can I somehow merge both accounts history but move forward using only the premium account connected to the Fingbox?

    I was instructed to hard reset the Fingbox. Tried resetting several times - problem continues.

    I know a hard reset means all device settings and data will be lost but now I'm concerned whether my device is even working properly. 

    Can you guys just not disassociate / re-associate whatever account its MAC is tied to?

    The device reset instructions you gave me are simply not resetting the device / resolving my problem. I have followed up through email support ticket.
