Detecting Wi-Fi disconnections

Hi!

There are gaps in my CCTV camera footage for a camera device that is connected to my Wi-Fi. Although the router is visible in the camera view, the connector cables in the wall are not in view. Is there a way to detect whether my Wi-Fi is being disconnected intermittently which might lead to the gaps in camera footage? An alert in real time if/when this happens would be helpful
