Stop Fing Desktop App From Automatically Syncing to New Wi-fi Networks

I have looked all over the support and fing community, but I'm not seeing how to stop fing from scanning new networks I connect to.  It's doing it on my work network several times a day and I don't want to get in trouble for scanning their network.  I'm afraid I'm going to have to delete the desktop app if I can't get it to stop.

In your experience are you saying that the scan for devices is automatically starting on whichever network you are connected to?

Yes, when I get to work and my laptop hits my work network it automatically starts scanning that network. I’m not finding a setting to change that would require me to start the scan on a new network.
