Fingbox V2 steady pink light

I have a Fingbox V2 and have changed both power and Ethernet cables and have followed the instructions on how to do a hardware reset holding the reset button until Fingbox flashes white. I have powered off and on and it starts white and then changed to pink. The problems started after using the fing desktop app. Now the Fingbox isn’t recognized and I don’t know what to do. I deleted the Fingbox and tried to re-add it but it isn’t found. Please help.

    Yes, that is what I used to remove it and where it does not find it anymore. My problem I think is that I need to get it back to original setup condition.

    The Fingbox is back in the mobile app. And a not active copy with the previous ip appeared in the device list and I deleted it. I subscribed to fing desktop premium and can’t seem to get the Fingbox to be a network again. Is there something I’m missing? Monitored networks wants to use only fing desktop and I can’t add fingbox or my two wifi networks to home and combine them. I want to use the mobile app like I was before. Fingbox light is still steady pink and appears in device list but is not found when using add fingbox.

    Hey @Scheie

    n order to resolve this issue, you will need to carry out a reset. To do this, please follow the steps below:


    1. Unplug the Fingbox power adaptor from the wall outlet
    2. Find the RESET hole/button beside the Fingbox power port
    3. Gently insert a paperclip in the RESET hole (very gently) OR if you have a reset button in back then press the RESET button.
    4. While keeping the RESET button gently pressed, plug the power adaptor back in
    5. Keep the RESET button pressed for 30 seconds and release (or until a single white light flashes on the device)
    6. You should now see a single white light on
    7. After a few seconds, the top circle will start flashing, while the original factory software is loaded
    8. This process lasts for a few minutes (~3 min)
    9. A single white light will mark the end of the process
    10. Power off the Fingbox
    11. Wait 5 seconds
    12. Power it back on
