Unable to unblock device

Hello

I am unable to unblock a device. In the devices list it says it is blocked but when I try to go and unblock it the button is missing. If I try and delete it the device just keeps coming back. The device is unconnected and powered off.

What is going on? No matter what I try I cannot resolve this.

    Hello

    Is anyone else from Fing able to help as I am not getting much traction here.

    This blocking issue is effecting my modem and therefore causing issues with my internet connection. Any level of support would be really nice.

    You can unblock devices in 2 ways:


    • Open Fing App and sign in.
    • Click on Fingbox/Network name from the Home tab
    • Go to the 'Device' tab
    • Click on the specific device
    • Scroll down to 'Manage this device'
    • You will see a red icon saying 'Unblock device'. Click that and it will unblock the device.


    Alternatively

    • After opening Fingbox/Network name from the Home tab
    • Go to the 'Network' tab
    • Scroll down to the 'Restricted devices' section and click on it.
    • This will display all the devices that have been blocked (along with the option to 'Unblock')

      Please let me know the results of this with some screenshots if that's okay!

    Hi Karl

    As you can see from my original post, I do not have a button for unblock device, it is missing from the GUI. 

    For reference, the “Restricted Devices” section on the network tab does not exist. I presume you mean the “Blocked Devices” button on the security tab. From here I was able to resolve my issue. Some two weeks after first raising it.

    Has this ever been resolved? I am having the same issue. The fing lights continue to pulse/alternate and I cannot find any new device to unblock. Any help would be appreciated. There is no "restricted devices" tab to go to.
