Hello,
I'm a complete Newbie. Hope this is a simple Question.
Recurring Devices are identified by the MAC-Adress? We are using DHCP. Identifying via IP Address would be impractical, right?

Hi @tomtomkiel , that is correct. One thing to keep in mind, many devices like Android and Apple have a concept of virtual MAC addresses for privacy reasons. This means the the Mac address can change, which could throw Fing off. On the networks that you run Fing on, you might want to turn that feature off and you can do this by network. So your home network, if private and secured, you can leave it off, while other networks you might connect to, you can leave it on for them.Thats Daphnee, she's a good dog...1
