Windows 11 Fing update 2.7.2

I keep receiving a pop up notification as following "The update is ready to install, Version 2.7.2 has been downloaded and will be automatically installed when you clock OK". However after pressing OK nothing happens and with the next Windows reboot the notification comes back. I also tried to reinstall the app but the version on the website is still 2.7.1.

Can you confirm if you are still facing the issue?

I tried that approach and didn't work for me. what did work was going into my browser options, selected downloads, located the file (it sowed as canceled) clicked the file and run it. I got 2.7.2 running.

i was getting daily prompts that 2.7.2 was ready to automatically install, then never did.  i found instruction here to manually run it from \users\[USER]\appdata\local\fing-updater....  there i found an executable called Installer that was still 2.7.1, and a directory called \pending.  in the directory i found Fing-2.7.2.  Removed Installer, then ran Fing-2.7.2.  All seems OK now.

Thank you all for your answers. I can now say that i didn't had any problem since i updated to 2.7.2 using Robin post step by step.
