How do I change my email? The old one I registered with is no longer active.

Presently, I get a pop-up saying that Fing will be updated automatically to the next version and nothing happens? Fing is no longer updating, why? (present version is Fing 2.7.0, it is trying to update to Fing 2.7.1)
