Why are my scheduled speed tests so slow?

The speed tests running from my fingbox have been consistently around 330 down, 40 up.

I am located in the US, just south of the border. I figured that the issue may be that it is polling the MLAB server in Vancouver, CA. However, when I ran the MLAB test from the same server in my browser I got a 930/40 measured.

My fingbox and the machine I tested this from are both connected to the same gigabit unmanaged switch, which is connected to my router downstairs. I am using the original power and ethernet cables that came with my fingbox.
Why could this be happening?
