Connectivity Problems

Hi @Theron
The notification you are referring comes when your device was either in sleep mode or the Fing desktop was unable to connect to the internet. When you click on the notification, it takes you to home tab to either re-run the scan or check if there is any error. When you manually scan or refresh the network, then Fing desktop re-runs the network scan and is able to talk to its servers and run the checks identifying everything is working alright.
The Connectivity alert is only for that particular time when Fing desktop was unable to run checks due to the device was in sleep mode or the internet was disconnected. You can always refresh the scan to make sure if everything is working alright at the current time.

Thanks for the response. It all happens with out my intervention. It has gotten worse. I had 5 devises drop off at 4:52AM this morning, cameras, radon detected, U-verse TV and Laser printer. They were disconnected for 28 minutes and then came back on line. Sometimes the disconnects is only a second or two. I have had 63 notifications on the laptop in less than 24 hours. It sleeps after 15 min. Only 4 on the desktop, and it is running all of the time. It never sleeps. AT&T is sending me a new gateway. Will see what happens... Thanks, again...0

Having a similar issue on a mac running fing 2.7.0 and it's not a sleep issue. I rebooted and restarted fing and getting the same results.

I replaced the gateway yesterday afternoon. I had 2 or 3 right away but then I have not received any in the last 24 hours. It does show I had one "minor internet outage" in the last 24 hours. So it appears the gateway was the problem. I will feel better if it runs for 48 hours with no "connectivity problems" or "lost network connectivity" notifications. Thanks for your responses....0

Same problems after replacing the gateway.
Why do I get a message that “you are not connected to a network, thus internet is not available” and the within 30 seconds get another message, “Welcome back your network looks good”? I have had 10 of them in 12 hours. Some of them in sleep mode but not all of them. The laptop was on, and connected, but not the keyboard was not being activity used.
