Why are outside devices on my access channels when I run a wi-fi scan?

When I run a wi-fi scan and then look at the channels I see all of the surrounding networks on my channels.  I have a Linksys mx5 wifi6 backbone.  Are they really there? And if so how do I get them off?

Hi @whniii, you can't kick a device off a channel.  Channels are open and available to all by design.  One of the reasons Fing lets you see this info is that if you see a particular channel overloaded (Which can degrade performance), you can set your router (if it supports it), to use a different less congested channel.
