sorry if i am not following but i only have one AP. So all devices are connected to this one wifi router provided by my ISP. So everything should be merged together by Fing desktop. Or am I missing something?
Can you DM me the device list from Fing desktop and the network tab from Fing desktop as well so I can investigate? Also, mention the device which are online but are showing offline on Fing desktop.

Perhaps @Robin means your access point's radios (It will have one per supported band and on newer tri-band routers its usually 2x5 and 1x2.4)? if its possible, connect the desktop to the 5ghz band, scan, then to the 2.4 and scan...  @Robin, is this what you meant?

Thanks @marc for the explanation and suggestion. Unfortunately I cannot connect to the different bands as the SSID is the same for both. I have no way of selecting a particular frequency

Some Routers let you turn the radios off individually (my Velop for instance).  You could temporarily do that until the scan is complete, then turn that radio off and restart the one you turned off first etc….
