Devices Disappear

I have Fing Desktop installed on my Mac Mini connected to my internal network via ethernet. When I boot my system and start Fing I see all my devices and all tools work. However, if I do a "scan" of the ethernet network all the devices disappear and the tools no longer work. If I reboot my computer it fixes itself. Any thoughts?

@Stads, what is the default network on the Home Screen that its scanning?  My example below is using my ethernet address which is what it scans when I hit the refresh button.

    Mark,
I see the exact same thing. However, when I select “scan” all my devices disappear and unless I reboot my computer they won’t show up

Is your wireless network also active. Meaning does Fing desktop also see it?

    Mark,

‘’I’ve tried it both ways and still get the same result. Regardless of the wireless status, if I hit “scan” the devices disappear. I’ve even tried deleting the app and reinstalling, same result

I have the same issue. When I click "See all devices" I see this:

There are 74 devices in my network. The "Refresh" button is greyed. Find sees the correct network and access points.
I have a Premium Account. But no joy.
There is no way I can contact Ving directly. Quite unsatisfactory, I should say.
    Thanks for helping out.

    Hi @guussie
Can you please quit the Fing desktop from activity monitor and then try to run the scan again? Also, if this does not work, then please delete the network identified by Fing desktop from wither Web app or Fing mobile app and then run the scan again.

I Quit Fing from Activity Monitor, but also Quit Fingagent.bin Fingagent then restarts automatically.
After this, Fing shows the Devices again. I did not need to delete the network as you indicated.
    Thanks for the solution!

Fingagent.bin consuming a lot of resources. Now I understand why my battery runs out so quickly.
