FIng 2.5.1 startup delayed on Mac running OS Catalina

Since updating to Fing Desktop 2.5.1 I have noticed that when starting up in the morning, Fing desktop auto-start is delayed. Once the system is running (all startup applications are done), I have noticed a delay of one minute or perhaps more until Fing Desktop starts. Is this normal? I even have time to launch Mail and Safari before suddenly, Fing starts to launch.

    Hi @eli104
This is completely normal. It depends on the number of the applications under auto-start and the preference.

Yes, but.... (to coin a phrase): I don’t have ANY applications that auto start except Fing and Dashlane (which starts quickly with no visible delay).

Seriously, my startup finishes... sits (enough time to feed the dog), and then I launch Mail manually.... and THEN Fing decides to show its face! Is there some delay or does it really wait until after I connect to my entire network and more (I don’t think so, since it always reports “no network” as soon as the app appears, along with “network restored” in the same breath).

Hi, I'm on a 2019 MacBook Pro 16" running OS Catalina (10.15.7), with 32GB RAM and a 2TB HDD. Today it was well over a minute before Fing launched (next time I will time it to see what's happening).
