Just installed new fingbox and can't be found

I purchased a slingbox followed the directions the light is blinking green but when I go to the app and try to add the device it says it cannot be found. The device was identified can be pinged but doesn't seem to be connected correctly and every time I try to add it it says it cannot be found. I tried going to help and there is no support. This is a disappointment.
