Access Points visible or invisible?

I've only just started using Fing, but don't understand why sometimes my 2nd routers, configured as Access points with static IP, sometimes show up on 'Devices' and sometimes don't, regardless of SSID (I have 2 or 3). I can ping them and connect, so I know they're there, but Fing doesn't seem to. Anyone any ideas? thanks

@NobodysPerfect, is this via the Fing mobile app or the Fing Desktop app?

Sorry for delay, Fing Desktop app. It does seem intermittent, ran it yesterday, all there, today, none. (3 access points)

For Fing desktop, It can only scan and identify devices that are connected to the current network. If your SSID is assigned with static IP then if they are mistaken as devices then it will show under Fing desktop scan or either if SSID name is same.
