@TPerk, the setting should be saved up to the cloud.  For any Fing product, as long as you log in with the same account on the same type of app, it should come back.  @Robin or @Ciaran , could you verify the correctness of my statement?

Old thread, trying to find answer.  We switched from a Windows PC to a Mac recently.  I want to move all of my Fing Desktop configuration from the Windows computer to the Mac but I cannot find a way to do this.  Nothing is syncing.  All are signed into the same account.  How do I move my data, I have years of entries in Fing Desktop that I do not want to loose?

To complicate things, I also have a Fingbox (original backer) that is linked to the Fing app on our phones.

    Thanks!

What was discovered by a Fingbox will not show up on the Fing desktop. They are two separate products and do not communicate with each other. The fing mobile app can see what was discovered by a Fingbox and what was discovered by the desktop, as two different scans.

As for moving from windows desktop to a Mac desktop, I thought if your using the same account, you should be able to see what was scanned by the windows desktop on the Mac by selecting it in the available networks. Did you try that?
