I have the same problem. This weekEnd, I installed a new NAS (WIRED) and I cannot connect to the internet. I made a lot of tests and finally I discovered that if I disconnect my Fing Box, all went well. I go to the fing box to unblock the new device, and surprise !! I have not the option anymore ? I thinked that it a version problem (IOS App), but not. I tried with the desktop app that I installed just for this case, but same problem. It is possible that the unblock device (or the pause Internet ...) are only in the Premium Version ? In this case, It is not the original deal that I had when I bought the box. And in this case, the box is completely useless ... I want to be free to manage my network and my devices by myself, it is why I bought the Fing Box.
If someone has an answer .. I take it !!

How can you give that response? Its just untrue. The digital fence feature has been limited to only a couple days when it went back months before the change.
You guys need to start owning the switcheroo you pulled on us. That feature was the only reason I bought a fingbox and you absolutely removed a feature that was promised to stay with the product without any additional fees.

I've seen it.
I also see you guys constantly saying noting has changed. I don't care what some focus group, you guys hand picked, had to say about their usage. My usage and decision to purchase was 100% based on the digital fence features you offered that have now been changed to premium. Own it. Let people know your promises are only as good as your next focus group. Because its a slap in the face to me and anybody else that took you guys at your word. I get it, its a PR nightmare and probably above your pay grade, but at least have the common decency to be honest about it. There are many many posts saying 'nothing has changed', only a couple actually admit, yeah well we changed this stuff a little bit. And even that info isn't easy to find when you are first looking.

Hi all Fing and Fingbox-Users of the first hour,
For me all answers from the Fing-Admins are not correct and absolutely helpless. I am very disappointed about that. The new Fing-App for iOS Version 10.0 lost all functions for Network-Safety. If you want those important functions back, you must buy the very expensive Premium Abo for 59,99 € per year or 6,99 € per month. For testing and to prove these statement I "buyed" the free of charge Testversion "iOS Fing-App V10 Premium" for one Week .. and the result was ... all Functions are back (but only for one Week).
Since now I've tested all the solutions, that I got from the Fing-Admin Ciaran. The tests costed me some hours. I am German ... and some technical words are not so easy to understand. But nothing helps at all. The free iOS Version 10 of Fing is absolutely worthless, if the hardware Fingbox should monitor and protect your network. All you can see is a list of your network-devices with IPs, MACs, and sometimes correct Manufacturers. Also correct is the function of presence and absence of the users. The speed-tests of WLAN are also ok. But at this time the Fingbox (that costs me 99 €) without the Network-Safety-Functions in Fing is only a little bunch of electronic scrap. I can't understand, why the Fing-Admins tells us not the truth. I am a poor Pensioner; and 60 € for a little piece of software PER YEAR is much too expensive for me. Please @Ciaran, put me on the list of users with heavy problems, and set up a support ticket for my problems (Intruder-Alarm, History more than 3 entries per device, professionell Router- and Networktest and so on).
From the cold Northern Germany I wish you all much health and a peaceful second Advent.SchatziPuffi from Lower Saxony

Hi @Ciaran,
I have never written, that I can't see the dashboard, where all the devices of my network are listed. That works correct with the old and the new Fing. This was shown on the "Startseite" where i must push the button "Alle Geräte anzeigen" ... this is in english "Show me all devices".
Now I try to write again, what is missing since the last update (iOS V10):
1. Eindringlingsalarm (in english: Intruderalarm. Someone tries, to get in my network. Then Fing should give me an alarm)
2. Sicherheitsüberprüfungen (in english: Fing should warn, if someone tries to overtake my router or tries to use an open port with bad software, and preventing the bad software to install malicious software in my system)
3. Unbegrenzte Werkzeuge (IP-Tools, e.g. to trace the route from my router to a website or to ping another website or device)
4. Ereignisse (in english: Events: The new Fing-Version shows max the last 3 events, the old Fing-Version showed many pages of the last events per device).
These four missing functions I wrote down from my brain, because I have current the free Premium-Free-Testversion for 1 week installed on my iPad Pro. And, as I wrote to you yesterday, with the Premium-Version (V10) everything is working like the old version (Fing for iOS V9). Also I wrote to you yesterday, that I will write you again about the "lost functions" when the testweek is over. That must be at December, 17.
Again I wish you a nice weekend and much health!SchatziPuffiSchatziPuffi from Lower Saxony
