Is iPhone considered a network?

When starting to scan devices with the Fing phone app, I am asked if I want to continue with the current network or do I want to switch to my Fingbox network. I only have one network at home and my iPhone 11 ProMax is connected to that network; that's why that question confuses me somewhat.

Hi @VABelle...  If you have a Fingbox and allow your phone to do a scan on its own, prior to you choosing the Fingbox network as default, it will do a new scan and you will have an additional registered network.  Usually this is named whatever the SSID of the network is named.  It’s not a big deal if you do a separate scan as you can always delete that network later.
