Fing recognizing devices as Windows (but running Debian or Ubuntu)

While I wait for my Fingboxes (arrive at Wed), I thought I'd get started with Fing Desktop running on my Lenovo Windows 10 Notebooks.
A few of my devices, at two different locations/networks, with different computers, get recognized as running Windows while they are not. They are running Debian or in another case they are virtual machine guests running Ubuntu on a Debian host.
Is there a way to change the OS to Debian/Linux etc or does it stay Windows?

On the Fing Mobile app, igo to the device page and select it.  Scroll down to the manufacturer section, and click reset.  That should then allow you to change the manufacturer / type / OS.  I’m using my NAS below as an example but it should work the same for any type of device.

Thanks. So it can't be done via Fing Desktop?
If so, why has it left the Beta stage, this seems rather half-baked IMHO.

The Fing desktop has the same recognition feature.  I was focusing on the Fingapp for the Fingbox but the feature exists in both.

Side Note, the desktop does NOT interact with your Fingbox, just the mobile app is compatible with it. They are two separate products.
