Warnings when running ExpressVPN (DNS resolution, network context)

If I run the Fing desktop app (Windows 10 Pro x64) with my VPN disabled, all is well: no warnings.

But every time I enable ExpressVPN, I get two warnings.

First is the warning to provide a network context (home/work/etc.). Not a big deal, but slightly annoying that I have to do this every time I connect.

Second is "DNS resolution is not working". The only way I see to resolve this is by muting the message.

Is it to be expected that running a VPN in general, or ExpressVPN in particular, would lead to a DNS resolution warning? And if so, is it reasonably safe for me to mute this warning type?

    Hi @Michael_Efrem
With VPN connections, there are some inconsistencies and this case might be one of it. If with VPN disabled everything is working then this VPN might not be supported as of now. But it may change in near future. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Thanks for the quick reply. Does this mean I shouldn't use Fing Desktop at all with ExpressVPN? Or just that I shouldn't be very concerned about the DNS Resolution warning?

You can use Fing desktop with VPN but the warning will remain there. If you can ignore that then you can continue using Fing desktop for other features as well. Thanks

    Hello,
I am running Fing v2.4.1 and use expressvpn v10.0.9 and even tho i have set the vpn to exclude fing.exe and a hand full of other apps it uses, it still will not work.  What fing gives is a white page in the fing app saying service not found and nothing in it works when vpn is on, which is always.
My question is how much long until a fix comes out?
