Outgoing connections to google, amazon, netflix, office,...

Why does fing desktop on MacOS, after first login, connect to google.com, amazon.com, netflix.com and office.com? That doesn't make sense to me...

Hey @Alexr, those checks are in there to verify major web site connectivity.  Not being able to connect to them could be an indication of a larger issue in connectivity that its trying to call attention to.  Plus, they tend to be used widely which is another reason I feel why Fing chose them.  In the premium version, you can add your own to the list as well.
