I have macOS Fing Desktop App with premium subscription. I can ping vlan devices from the MacBook and see the vlan in fing. But it did not find any IP in that network, scanning has no result.

Dear Robin I accidentally clicked "did this answer your questen :yes" and cannot undo it. Here is a screenshot. As you can see I can ping an IP from 192.168.20.0/24. But a scan will only show IP's from the native network, even if you click on the correct vlan.

    Hi @smilla
I am afraid that with VLAN, this might not work. Fing products does not support VLANs at the moment.

I clicked on show vlan and it send me to a page to buy fing premium to see the result. I bought fing premium because there was written it support vlan. Now I clicked again the side with the overview and vlan ist not anymore there. Very strange. I wished I had made a screenshot of that page.

    Thanks @smilla
Have you selected the VLAN option from the scan devices option? I would request you to check if you see the Vlan option or not in coming days and I am still investigating this and I will reply to you with an update shortly.

You are not imagining that screen saying that VLANs were supported. That was the main reason I went to premium as I am still experimenting with how to use the hardware and connections I have.

Unfortunately I feel the desktop app, free or premium, has a long way to go before it becomes beneficial to its users.
