No open ports?

Hi everyone..

I've been running open port scan on my mobile phone (Galaxy S6) for the last week or so using my public ip address which I get from phone settings and it seems strange to me that it always results in no open ports

To me there must be some open ports!

Am I correct in thinking this?

Also the other thing which I find strange is that I get this same result if I activate vpn on phone or not and the ip address stays the same regardless?

Appreciate any advice

Thanks

@lepend , there is a great site called Shields up, at grc.com you can go to.  It has a number of vulnerability scans, including ports, you can can scan against.  I just used it from my phone out through my router and it found nothing open so yes, its possible.
