This came out of a discussion here: https://community.fing.com/discussion/365/how-to-hinder-fingbox-to-fall-back-from-1-gbps-to-100-mbps#latest

If anyone here is running both and your Fingbox is connected and stable at 1GB, then please answer yes. If you have both but degraded speed, then please poll No, and detail out the model of the Fritzbox, the version of the Fingbox (v1 or v2) and how the two are connected, all in your comments.

Ah yes, also, we've got more emails to send to the German user base. And I believe this router is quite popular there? So hopefully in next few weeks we'll get more responses too.

Using Fingbox (V1) connected with original cable to Fritzbox 7590, no speed-issues, 1 GBit works fine.
Can't tell the firmware-version, because it's in my parents home. But i'm thinking auto-update is turned on.

@VioletChepil yes, Fritzbox is quite popular here in germany.

The speed problem is solved for me, it turned out to be a problem of Fingbox'es power supply. See original thread ("best answer", right below the first entry).

Same issue here on a UniFi switch US-8-POE (using non-POE port). Fingbox is always to 100Mb.

same problem here, using a Fingbox V1 and a Fritzbox 6591. Everything on 1Gbit/s exept Fingbox (100Mbit/s)
