Good morning, I hope you can help me, devices like computers, mobiles...when I change my wifi network its MAC address changes and at the end for the same device there are duplicates in my FingBox (different MAC addresses) it is not possible to unify it and that the same device has different MAC addresses in the Fing app?

    Hi @athe28
If the MAC addresses are getting changed then Fing app is working correctly identifying them as new devices. You can either disable the MAC randomization on these devices or clear all the devices from the device list and scan the network again to keep only one list of devices.

Hello @Robin , we would have thought for a future update that we could unify a device that is the same but with different MAC, so we could reduce the list of devices when there is really one but with several Mac addresses, this changes me for example when I connect the device from ethernet to Wifi. Since not all my devices can make it have a fixed MAC as the mobile or computer. Thank you.

I have the same problem . Mainly on my iPhone but sometimes on iPad .

being flagged as a new device every few days .

be good if there was a fix rather than having to disable Mac randomisation.

As of now, the only fix is to disable the Private MAC address. Detailed explanation can be found here: https://www.fing.com/news/private-mac-address-on-ios-14
