Have Good Connection - Getting Connectivity Connection Problem With Google On Wired Mac With Eero

I seem to get this error message from the Fing Desktop App:  www.google.com is not browsable, SSL Handshake failed: Operation canceled. When I go to my browser (Brave or Chrome) and go to google there is no problem.  I'm using a wired connection to my Macbook Pro with the latest OS and have an eero router running their latest software.  Not sure what I should do, if anything.  I occasionally get another test website connectivity warning message, like Amazon, not too often.  I'm not running a VPN either when these warning messages pop up.  Thanks for the help.,

When the error appears, was the device sleeping or disconnected from the internet?

Please see the error message below.  I'm getting this message and my network is fully functional and working fine.

    Thanks for this @microbarney
Next to the warning there is a (?) icon which will explain the reason for alert and will provide you with an option to disable this alert.

Thanks... Robin.  This disabled the message showing up as an "error" and now shows up as 'info"...  And I got the "All Good" message with my network.  Any reason why the Fing Desktop app would be giving me that DCHP error message even if everything is working fine?  Appreciate your help...

I have the same issue here. I have an fine working network also. Fing check results in the W415 Healthcheck code.

There is only one DHCP server active in the network and it has plenty of room for assigning adresses. New devices can easely connect to enter the network, so I think it must be something else.

I also like to know what could be the reason.

    Hi @Zoef
There might be a chance that you have not selected the network context or selected wrong network context. Next to the warning there is a (?) icon which will explain the reason for alert and will provide you with an option to disable this alert.

I realize that this is an old thread, but it cropped up in my search for an answer to a problem I have and I too have had the DHCP problem described here from time to time.  In the last post (before this one) Robin says "might be a chance that you have not selected the network context or selected wrong network context."  I'm not sure I understand that comment... what does selecting the network context mean and how does one do it?

I think he meant if your network is a home , business etc.

In the mobile app at least, if you select your current network, then go to the network tab. You will see a blue edit button. Press it and choose what type of network you on. It adjust Fing’s settings for discovery etc…
