Device-Recognition Lenovo Thinkpad not correct

Hi,

my fingbox is detecting my lenovi thinkpad as quanta-computer running windows. But actually there's running linux mint. I have also triggered the new way of recognition while opening browser on my thinkpad and using the fingbox's ip. This didn't change sth with the detected manufacturer and OS.

Did somebody else notice this at lenovo thinkpad? Ah, need to say, i'm using cable-connection with thinkpad.

Seems the problem with OS is cleared over night. Today there's no windows mentioned anymore, but no Linux is mentioned.

Quanta is still mentioned as manufacturer.

It might take time to correct that information as well. Fing App is learning new information every day. The Fing App discovery will identify devices on a best effort basis, based on the information made available by the device, e.g. the MAC address. There are numerous reasons why the device might not be recognized correctly e.g. 

- The DHCP server is not refreshing when speaking to your Fingbox. 

- Limited information being offered by specific devices.
