I have the new Fing Desktop App loaded.
I am able to see/access the Fing Box on my local network.
However from the Desktop app how do I access/view a second network with a Fing box on it?
I can see data from the second network on my iPhone or Web browser but have not found a way to add, select and view it from the new desktop app...
    Any way to do this?
    Pete

Hi @Mat_Moment2, our engineers have worked on this and it can now run on Windows servers:

Initially,  please ensure that you are on the most up to date version of Fing Desktop 1.0.1 (as we have included some bug fixes & updates on this release).

    To resolve on Windows servers:

    1. Fing Desktop needs to have WLAN Service installed manually. Procedure to install WLAN Drivers: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2012-r2-and-2012/hh994698%28v%3Dws.11%29
    2. Then Fing Desktop will need to be re-installed

Once completed, this should resolve your issue.

Really liking Fing Desktop.  Great work.
And the inevitable feature request ;-)  It would be useful (to me, at least) to have the option to export the local network device list (with MAC and IP addresses) to some kind of file (PDF and/or CSV preferably).  Thank you !!

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I'd really love to see the People component of the mobile app in the desktop app.  Linking devices to users is a must have for me.
    P.S. Great app, BTW!

In event viewer, the fing agent is listed as faulting multiple times daily.  My new PC is shutting down randomly, so I'm looking at logs and seeing misbehaving fing :)  I thought I would report what I found, share the logs and such but cannot find any such mechanism.  So I thought I'd ask here.

Hi @DG12, if you choose to share them with us, yes. If you decide to save them or share them with other 3rd parties (or keep them personally), then no. Thanks

I did click "share" and created the query. Is there something else I should do?

Should I create a topic related to the "more than one DCHP" and "No DHCP " ?

Once you are facing any trouble with your home network or in relation to Fing App then with the help of the Health Check report, all members or Fing Admins are able to address your issue. You can create a new post and then share the report there or search for similar topics and then share your doubts. Based on the privacy you chose for the reports, the issue will be addressed by all community members.
